I know you have a lawyer and they don't call NVC I strongly suggest you call NVC and keep calling until you get case#. So its all dependent on when you get a case#. And realistically without any errors you could be done in 30 days from sending them in. Well it depends have you already got your case#? Once you get that the AOS fee and package and the DS-260 (IV Bill fee) and package can be sent in. My question is does anyone have any idea of the current processing times for the DS-260? I would love to think that at least by April I should have an interview date at the London embassy.Īny info or other members previous experiences would be most appreciated

My lawyer did explain that the visa offices have been really backed more so than previous years and she didn't expect our wait to this long for the I-130 to be approved. I'm trying to be optimistic that once this is submitted the whole process will be a lot more proactive and I won't be waiting another 7 months for any kind of news. She already has all the original documents and information required as she requested it back in July in preparation for this stage. My lawyer emailed me to say we can now start phase two which will be the DS-260. Finally on Christmas Eve it was approved which was a nice early present! It's been a while since I logged on to this site as for the past 7 months I have just been waiting and waiting for any kind of news/notification about my I-130.
